He is also a co-founder and the CEO of Ignite Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka. He started developing his award-winning e-learning platform Layup, a Sri Lankan startup was placed on top at the recently held Seedstars Colombo. It is is a user-friendly and creative learning-driven social platform to discover a new way to train, engage and reward employees. It is a radically new approach to training called the "Engaged Education Methodology" (EEM) an agile 3-step learning methodology built to maximize user participation and retention. Sheran graduated from Informatics Institute of Technology, Sri Lanka holding a Bachelor of Science BSc. (Hons.) in Software Engineering, University of Westminster, United Kingdom with first class honours and was the top 2% of the highest score on dissertation.
