Dr. Soraphol Tulayasathien

SENIOR EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE STOCK EXCHANGE OF THAILAND

Dr. Soraphol is Senior Executive Vice President at the Stock Exchange of Thailand overseeing Corporate Strategy, International Relation, Research, and Sustainable Development.

Prior to joining the Stock Exchange of Thailand, Dr. Soraphol was the Executive Director of Macroeconomic Policy Bureau at the Fiscal Policy Office, Ministry of Finance, where responsible for GDP forecasting and Big Data on low-income earners. He was also the Deputy Spokesperson at the Ministry of Finance. Dr. Soraphol received the Outstanding Civil Servant Award in 2013.

Dr. Soraphol received his Ph.D. in Public Policy and Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. He has extensive experience in public, private, and academic sectors, having worked at Siam Commercial Bank; Department of Trade Negotiations, Ministry of Commerce; and Fiscal Policy Office, Ministry of Finance. He also teaches economics and finance part-time at Thammasat University and NIDA Business School.
