MANAGING DIRECTOR OIL & GAS, AWR LLOYD

Rajat joined AWR Lloyd as a Managing Director for Oil & Gas and Energy, in 2017. He is a multilingual, finance professional with nearly 2 decades of experience in New Business Ventures, M&A, Portfolio Management, Financial & Economic Due Diligence and Strategy Consulting.

As a Principal lead he has been instrumental in deal origination & execution for Merger & Acquisition (M&A) and Private Equity (PE) businesses across the Oil & Gas, Energy and Infrastructure sectors.

Prior to joining AWR Lloyd, Rajat served in a number of senior executive positions including, Partner (Oil & Gas) at India Capital, a private equity fund. His work involved originating, assessing and finalising investments in the E&P and midstream sectors in Asia and Africa (2015 – 2017) and General Manager (Strategy & Business Development) at Essar Oil (India) and Essar Energy plc (UK) (2006 – 2015).

Rajat has an MBA (Finance) from NMIMS Mumbai and an Engineering degree from JNEC, Aurangabad.
