DIRECTOR OF MATERIALS FOR ENERGY RESEARCH GROUP, MTEC, MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION, SCIENCE, RESEARCH AND INNOVATION
Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul is a principal researcher and director of Materials for Energy Research Group at MTEC/ENTEC, under National Science and Technology Development Agency. She received her B.Eng. and PhD from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London. Her research interest is on hydrogen production, solid oxide fuel cells, production and evaluation of catalyst and adsorbent, and related electrochemistry characterisation. She has published more than 180 peer-reviewed journal-proceedings articles and book chapters and over 22 Intellectual Properties under pending and filing (patents, petit patent and trade secrets). She is now working on several projects, e.g. development of catalyst for conventional fuel and development of biomass for use in electrochemical storage and hydrogen production technologies. She received a bronze medal from the 35th International Exhibition of Inventions, New Techniques and Products of Geneva, Switzerland in 2007.
