Ken Tsutsui

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR OF AW3D, NTT DATA JAPAN

Ken Tsutsui is the technical director of AW3D, one of the world's most accurate global 3D map service covering all global land using satellite data. He has been architecting products, leading R&D and managing production at NTT DATA. His team has completed the world’s first 5m-resolution 3D map of the Earth in 2016, and has been enhancing the product to sub-meter accuracy. The service is now focusing on digital twin based civil and industrial applications using multi satellite sensor data. AW3D has received the several awards including Japanese Prime Minister's Award in the Space Development and Application Awards in 2016 and Asia Geospatial Technology Innovation Awards 2017.
