Bangkok Projection Mapping Competition 2021 (BPMC2021) is a competition that brings motion graphics or animation content projected to the architecture that is the venue of an event. The competition is held for designers and artists in 2 levels, student level, and public or professional level. There are four objectives:
- To connect and build community between Multimedia / New Media Design designers within the country and abroad. And also giving opportunities for young designers or new players who want to represent their work to the public.
- To represent the value and benefits of Multimedia / New Media Design to the public. And let it be the marketplace or business matching area between producers and consumers.
- To create the first projection mapping international competition in Thailand & create a network of international creators.
- Using Projection Mapping as a tool to present the story - culture of the country And contributing to the economic benefits of the community within the district.
The Bangkok Projection Mapping Competition 2021 (BPMC2021) will be held under the theme "Wish (Prayer and Hope)" at the East Asiatique Building(Bangkok) (Soi Charoen Krung 40, Pier area. Oriental Hotel) from June 12, 2021 - June 20, 2021, which will coincide with the Bangkok Design Week 2021, which will be held for a total of 10 days, with the first 9 days: Open to the general public through the registration system that was created with Zip Event Co., Ltd. and the last day is the day of the award ceremony. Which will be broadcast live online via Zip Event Co., Ltd.
