เทศกาลภาพยนตร์คัดสรร Cinema Diverse กลับมาแล้ว!
Cinema Diverse 2017 มาในธีม The Invisible Hands ซึ่งเราจะพาคนรักหนังทุกท่านไปพูดคุยกับคนทำหนังไทยรุ่นใหม่ฝีมือดีที่อยู่เบื้องหลังงานสร้างชั้นยอดมากมาย ผ่านหนังที่พวกเขาคัดสรรมาฉายเพื่อเปิดบทสนทนาว่าด้วยการทำหนังในแบบที่หาฟังจากไหนไม่ได้อีกแล้ว
สำหรับ The Invisible Hands ครั้งที่ 1 ขอเสนอ "คุยเรื่องตัดต่อกับอาร์ม ชลสิทธิ์ อุปนิกขิต" (ผู้ตัดต่อ “36”; Mary Is Happy, Mary Is Happy, “ฟรีแลนซ์...ห้ามป่วย ห้ามพัก ห้ามรักหมอ” ของ นวพล ธำรงรัตนฤทธิ์ และ “พรจากฟ้า” กับหนังเรื่องล่าสุด “ฉลาดเกมส์โกง”) ซึ่งคัดสรรเลือกฉาย Flapping in the Middle of Nowhere หนังเรื่องแรกของผู้กำกับหญิงชาวเวียดนาม เหงียนฮวางดิป ที่นำเสนอแง่มุมชวนขบคิดเรื่องเพศสภาพ โดยเฉพาะการถูกกดทับจากสังคมที่คาดหวังจากความเป็นผู้หญิง ทั้งเรื่องการทำแท้ง การค้าประเวณี และความเป็นแม่ ผ่านชีวิตของ เฮวียน วัยรุ่นสาวจอมขบถที่ตั้งท้องโดยไม่ได้ตั้งใจกับแฟนหนุ่มไม่เอาไหน เธอตัดสินใจค้าประเวณีเพื่อเก็บเงินมาทำแท้ง แต่ลูกค้าของเธอคนหนึ่งกลับหลงใหลในผู้หญิงที่ตั้งครรภ์ และเฮวียนก็ตกหลุมรักเขาเช่นกัน

**Flapping in the Middle of Nowhere
(NGYUN HOANG DIEP / 2014 / Vietnam, France, Norway, Germany / 98 Mins / With Thai and English Subtitle)
The first movie of the Vietnamese female director, NGUYEN HOANG DIEP, presenting the perspective of sexuality especially social oppression from a female expectations, abortion, prostitution and maternity through the life of Huyen, a teenage girl who get unintentionally pregnant from her useless boyfriend. So she finds herself forced to fall into prostitution in order to save money for an abortion. Ironically, the only customer who is willing to pay is a man who is obsessed with pregnant women and, surprisingly, Huyen falls in love with him too.
CHONLASIT UPANIGKIT made his reputation from being a film editor of “36” of Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit and “Mary Is Happy, Mary Is Happy”. Then he is always known as a film editor of Nawapol. His works includes also “Heart Attack (Freelance)”, one of the top-grossing movies. Moreover, he received an opportunity from GDH to edit “A Gift (Pohn-Jak-Fah)” and the latest movie “Bad Genius”
CHONLASIT selected the Vietnamese movie which presents a simple editing but influential like “Flapping in the Middle of Nowhere” edited by Jacques Comets and Gustavo Vasco. CHONLASIT said about the editing in this movie that “This is the movie that shows the effect of editing in the film. Although this movie hasn’t many cuts, it can give to the viewer a feeling of semi-real and semi-dream.”
