Join us in moving Thai contemporary art scene forward with Art Move: A Fundraising Exhibition for Bangkok Art and Culture Centre 2022, and acquire contemporary artworks by 49 leading Thai artists.
In 2021, the BACC had initiated “BACC Fundraising Project 2021” to engage the public and private sectors in supporting the BACC to continue to serve as a learning art center in Thailand, starting with “Art in Postcards”, selling special postcard sets designed by more than 12 artists. We also held an exhibition titled “People to People”, a fundraising exhibition that exhibited artworks by more than 60 People’s Gallery artists. Both projects were very well received.
Even though we have received a positive sign from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration regarding the extension of the contract for another 10 years, financial support from the public and private sectors are still vital to the continuation of our arts and culture activities.
Art Move is a collaborative exhibition between the BACC and 49 artists, including private galleries in giving contemporary artworks to be exhibited for public viewing and sold to collectors, art enthusiasts and those who want to support the operation of the BACC. This exhibition showcases the works of recognised artists, and reflects the diversity of Thai contemporary art forms as well as promotes and increases the dynamism in Thailand's art collection circle. Funds raised by this exhibition will be used to further support the BACC’s activities. On this special occasion, the participating artists are willing to reduce the prices of their artworks in order for art enthusiasts and the public to be able to consider contributing.
Remark: Participating artists have reduced the price of their works specifically for this exhibition as a special offer.
