Land of fleeting summers and harsh winters, miles of impassable forests, hills and swamps, devastated factory towns and coal pits. That should be an image of Russia's far North, the birthplace of Alesha Voroshkin.Voroshkin never fails in creating that breath-taking and yet amazingly warm atmosphere with tender earthly rhythms of his carefully selected and delicate DJ-sets, whether in the cuddly security of a chill-out or in the pulsating darkness of a dance floor.This goofy looking “not too right in the head” wierdo of a man is a natural born sensitive musician with unerring taste, overwhelming training and huge field experience. Graduated from the music school as a button accordion player, Voroshkin started composing and making music compilations. He'd always been a melomaniac wiz kid. Later on, way back in his homeland Moscow, Alesha began throwing parties under a “Klem” moniker, working as a dj and sound designer, taking part in establishing a local musical community of artists named PZDC, and so forth. Since 2001 he'd been playing at Kazantip, huge festival in Crimea.Voroshkin does it easily with same unselfish commitment to integrity and perfection.
