COFOUNDER, AGROCENTA

Agrocenta LLC was co-founded by 2 ex –Esoko employees , Francis Obirikorang and Michael K. Ocansey in 2015 to improve the agricultural value chain in Ghana. It is an online platform that connects all the stakeholders from the staple of food chain including farmers, partners , logistics supplier, offloaders to buyers under one umbrella for effective trading. With his strong business background, he strongly believes that Agrocenta can eliminate the common practice where middlemen/brokers act as exploitative buyers, purchase produce for less than a third of its actual value from smallholder farmers and re-sell in urban markets for huge profits. Francis graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS), Materials Engineering, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
