International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD) was established by Royal Decree in 2002. (Public Organisation) Act 2544 is responsible for providing education, training, and research, promoting trade and development, as well as other activities that are consistent with the Agreement of Cooperation between the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the United Nations Conference of Trade and Development. The implementation of such guidelines will help Thailand and other developing countries take advantage of the effects of globalization and liberalization in the world.
